Periplaneta Americana is the scientific name for the American cockroach. It is the largest species of cockroach found in Greece. It prefers warm, humid conditions and avoids cold climates. Despite its name, it is a species that thrives in warm and tropical climates and is found widely in Africa and the Middle East.
